Trans-Atlantic band Algiers are the politically conscious indie rock trio. Combing spiky post punk and raucous no wave with blues, gospel, and the intense edge of early industrial music – their eagerness to experiment is parallel with their passion for justice.

Signed to indie label Matador; their output includes an eponymous debut album (2015) and records The Underside of Power (2017) and There Is No Year (2020). Their latest LP Shook dropped in 2023.
