Scottish new wave/post-punk band Altered Images formed in 1979 and became a major force in the alternative scene during the following decade.

Altered Images albums are Happy Birthday (1981), Pinky Blue (1982), Bite (1983) and Mascara Streakz (2022).

Their hit singles include "Happy Birthday", "I Could Be Happy", "See Those Eyes", and "Don't Talk to Me About Love".
