Swedish band Amon Amarth formed in 1992, and took their moniker from the Sindarin name of Mount Doom as read in J.R.R. Tolkien's masterpiece The Lord Of The Rings. Packed full of face melting riffs; they have released twelve studio albums including debut record Once Sent From The Grand Hall and their latest release The Great Heathen Army which dropped last year.
