History and the History Wars
History and historians are under attack from politicians and the tabloids worldwide but can history unite rather than divide us

Join us for a captivating evening with Professor David Olusoga OBE, the renowned historian, BAFTA-winning filmmaker

Also as presenter of BBC2’s A House Through Time we see a new series begin on BBC 2  https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002389m

In this talk, David will examine why black history matters plus the causes of the ‘history wars’ and asks where they might lead us

Through his TV work and writing, he has sought to make history inclusive, expansive and diverse by shedding a light on how history is viewed through the media

This recently included his Book and the BBC series Union  - featuring the history of Wales Scotland and Ireland

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and book signing
