Scream tickets

Scream were amongst the vanguard of the D.C. hardcore scene. Formed in 1981, their politically charged lyrics put to uncompromising hardcore punk saw them quickly rise to the fore of the underground, exploding out of Washington, D.C. to reach the disaffected youth right across the US. They released four albums Still Screaming (1983), This Side Up (1985), Banging the Drum (1986) and No More Censorship (1988) before splitting in 1990, releasing the Fumble LP three years after the breakup.

They would reunite, playing ad hoc live shows and working on various recording projects from 2009 onwards. Scream released their latest album DC Special in 2023.
