Bickram Ghosh is an internationally renowned Indian percussionist and composer, celebrated for his mastery of the tabla and his innovative approach to blending classical Indian rhythms with contemporary genres. A prominent figure in both Indian classical music and fusion, Ghosh has trained under legendary tabla maestro Pandit Shankar Ghosh (his father) and played alongside iconic sitar virtuoso Pandit Ravi Shankar for over a decade.


In addition to his work in classical music, Ghosh is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional Indian percussion by incorporating elements of jazz, rock, and world music into his performances and compositions. He has led various fusion projects, including the band Rhythmscape, which gained acclaim for its vibrant and modern take on Indian rhythm.


Ghosh has also made a mark as a film composer, contributing to Bollywood and regional cinema, including his work on the Oscar-nominated Jal (2014). He has collaborated with artists across genres and continues to be an influential figure in both Indian classical and contemporary global music.
