DJ and actor Craig Charles is a poet of the people. He began his career on the urban poetry circuit, before moving to comedy and acting. Following his time on the Red Wedge comedy tour, Charles joined the cast of hit BBC science fiction comedy series Red Dwarf playing Dave Lister. He now hosts The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on BBC 6music.
