Indie folk singer-songwriter Samuel Beam is better known to the world as Iron & Wine. Born and raised in Chapin, South Carolina, his sepia-tinged sound has been greeted by critical acclaim and found listeners around the world. He has released ten albums, including the gold-selling records Our Endless Numbered Days (2004) and The Shepherd's Dog (2007) plus the latest title Light Verse (2024).
